Built for the engineers entering critical infrastructure.

DCPP is open to engineers across construction, infrastructure, and project management. Whether you are responsible for schedule, scope, procurement, or delivery, the programme builds a shared planning vocabulary for data centre projects.

01

Planning Engineers & Project Controls

Schedulers, planners, and controls professionals seeking critical infrastructure specialisation. Three or more years of construction experience.

02

Project Managers

Experienced PMs transitioning into hyperscale and colocation programmes.

03

MEP Engineers

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers entering critical infrastructure delivery.

04

Real Estate, Development & Executives

Investors, developers, and data centre executives navigating asset, portfolio, and capability decisions.

02 Curriculum

Four modules. End-to-end planning fluency.

A structured progression from feasibility through to handover. Every module grounded in real hyperscale project documents, not generic industry summaries.

M1
Lifecycle & Design Strategy

Land selection and technical due diligence. Stage gates S1 through S4T. The dual-track relationship between design and authorities — from feasibility through handover.

  • Land selection & technical due diligence
  • Stage gates and approval gateways
  • Design and authorities dual-track
  • Feasibility, concept, detailed design
M2
Procurement Strategy

End-to-end procurement scope. Long-lead equipment governance, contracting strategy, vendor packaging, and procurement integration with the master schedule.

  • Procurement strategy & contracting
  • Long-lead equipment (LLE) governance
  • Vendor packaging & sequencing
  • Procurement-schedule integration
M3
Build Sequence

Construction phases — early works, enabling, shell & core, MEP. Grey space and white space delivery logic. Phased data hall release and critical path discipline.

  • Early works, enabling, shell & core, MEP
  • Grey space & white space delivery
  • Phased data hall release strategies
  • Critical path through construction
M4
Commissioning & Handover

Level 2 pre-commissioning through Level 5 ISAT to TOC. Witness regimes, IST sequencing, and owner acceptance protocols.

  • L2 pre-commissioning to L5 ISAT
  • Witness regimes and IST sequencing

04 Learning Outcomes

On completion, participants are equipped to:

01

Read, structure, and challenge a data centre programme baseline with confidence.

02

Identify long-lead equipment risks and their schedule implications before they become critical.

03

Sequence grey space and white space delivery in alignment with commissioning logic.

04

Govern the L2 to L5 commissioning pathway through to handover.

05

Engage authorities and utilities along the critical path with planning clarity.

06

Translate hyperscale planning discipline into their own organisational context.

05 CPD & Certificate

08 Common Questions

What participants ask.

Is DCPP only for planners?

No. While planning is in the name, DCPP is structured for a broader audience — planning and project controls engineers, project managers, MEP engineers, and real estate or data centre executives. The shared language is critical infrastructure delivery, not a specific job title.

Is it only for MEP or civil engineers?

No. MEP and civil engineers are welcome, and the curriculum is designed to translate across disciplines. Participants from procurement, project controls, development, and executive backgrounds find the material directly applicable to their work.

Do I need P6 or Primavera knowledge?

No. DCPP teaches the planning discipline — the logic, sequencing, and structure behind a data centre programme. The tool you use to express that logic, whether P6, MS Project, or anything else, is secondary. Participants without P6 experience follow the programme without difficulty.

Do I need prior data centre experience?

No. DCPP is designed for engineers entering critical infrastructure. The programme builds from first principles, then layers in the discipline that hyperscale and colocation projects demand. Prior data centre experience helps, but it is not a prerequisite.

Do you use real materials and real project experience?

Yes. The curriculum is grounded in real hyperscale project artefacts — schedules, procurement strategies, commissioning logs, and design documents from live delivery. Not generic industry summaries. Sessions are led by a practitioner currently delivering a 2 GW+ data centre portfolio.
